STATEMENT

“L’artista definisce così il suo mondo, stabilisce le sue leggi e limiti, crea il suo linguaggio e scrive il suo discorso. Questo mondo, che si presenta con le risorse tecniche che ogni epoca offre, è il risultato del lavoro e dello sforzo di vedere oltre l’ovvio e l’immediato. La vera forza motrice di questo è il cervello dell’artista, che gli permette di discernere il fatto o il sentimento da rappresentare nell’opera d’arte. […] L’universo che esiste nel cervello umano rivela la realtà sociale che ci circonda.  Ogni mente umana è un mondo vitale e la società un universo di idee, risultato dell’aggregazione di situazioni che generano relazioni, creando canali di  comunicazione. Attraverso l’arte si affina la loro percezione. Ogni mente disegna il suo profilo e il riflesso che percepiamo; da qui il mio interesse nell’osservare il messaggio che riceviamo e come lo facciamo.”

STATEMENT

“The artist thus defines his world, establishes his laws and limits, creates his language and writes his discourse. This world, which presents itself with the technical resources that each era offers, is the result of work and the effort to see beyond the obvious and immediate. The real driving force behind this is the artist’s brain, which allows him to discern the fact or feeling to be depicted in the artwork. […] The universe that exists in the human brain reveals the social reality that surrounds us. Every human mind is a vital world and society a universe of ideas, the result of the aggregation of situations that generate relationships, creating channels of communication. Through art, their perception is improved. Each mind draws its profile and the reflection we perceive; hence the interest it has for me to see the message we receive and how we do it.”
