Captcha e\u0300 l\u2019impronta digitale odierna che l\u2019essere umano deve rilasciare per convincere una macchina di non essere un cyborg o a sua volta un computer. Tale impronta va a sovrapporsi alla base dell\u2019opera formata da uno scudo\/maschera tribale africana con l\u2019intenzione di far nascere nell\u2019osservatore la domanda: \u201ccome siamo arrivati a questo punto? Come siamo arrivati a dover essere tenuti a dimostrare a una macchina di non essere un suo simile?\u201d<\/p>\n

Se lo psichiatra R. D. Hinshelwood descrive la mente come un apparato per riconoscere un\u2019altra mente, il Captcha e\u0300 l\u2019estensione alla macchina di questo concetto, per cui viene chiesto a quest\u2019ultima di riconoscere una mente umana. Pertanto resta da capire cosa non e\u0300 umano secondo una macchina. Un infante o una persona non normodotata (entrambi non in grado di risolvere un Captcha) non sono, in fondo, comunque umani?<\/p>\n

Captcha is the fingerprint that human beings today must release to convince a machine that they are not a cyborg or in turn a computer.
\nThis imprint is superimposed on the base of the work formed by an African tribal shield \/ mask with the intention of arousing the question in the obser- ver: \u201chow did we get to this point? How did we come to have to prove to a machine that we are not its own kind?\u201d<\/p>\n

If the psychiatrist R. D. Hinshelwood describes the mind as an apparatus for recognizing another mind, the Captcha is the extension of this concept to the machine, whereby the machine is asked to recognize a human mind. Therefore it remains to understand what is not human according to a ma- chine. An infant or a non-abled person (both unable to solve a Captcha), after all, aren\u2019t human anyway?<\/p>\n

Utilizza tecniche miste e materiali inusuali quali resine epossidiche, paste dentifricie, oggetti di recupero, cartapesta e luci a led.<\/p>\n

Nel 2017 Carminati ha esposto presso Bar Borsa, piazza della liberta\u0300 a Bergamo e ad Artistika, Comun Nuovo. Nel 2020, 2021 e 2022 ha espo- sto presso la galleria 29 arte in via S. Tomaso a Bergamo. Nel 2021 ha esposto presso Upperlab in via Pescaria a Bergamo e presso Maria Pandora a Madrid mentre, nell\u2019ultimo anno, ha esposto presso il Rockport Art Center in Texas USA.<\/p>\n

Federico Carminati, lawyer by profession and self-taught artist, tries to represent doubts about human existence in his works, combining the images that his mind represents, as if to compose a rebus. He uses mixed techniques and unusual materials such as epoxy resins, toothpaste, recycled objects, papier-ma\u0302che\u0301 and LED lights.<\/p>\n

In 2017 Carminati exhibited at Bar Borsa, Piazza della Liberta\u0300 in Bergamo and at Artistika, Comun Nuovo. In 2020, 2021 and 2022 he exhibited at the 29 art gallery in via S. Tomaso in Bergamo.
