_STATEMENT<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Le sculture e i disegni in esposizione, pur richiamando aspetti e soggetti di tipo naturalistico, sono svolti con un linguaggio che raramente si avvale di elementi figurativi.<\/p>\n

Le sculture, tutte realizzate in terracotta smaltata e patinata, si caratterizzano per una struttura compositiva singola, prevalentemente sviluppata in verticale con forme articolate e movimenti sinuosi. Nelle opere grafiche si possono riscontrare delle analogie ma \u00e8 l\u2019elemento cromatico che caratterizza le composizioni, evocando un\u2019energia espressiva sia nei rapporti chiaroscurali, sia nelle tematiche pi\u00f9 specifiche. Anche qui il linguaggio, pur con una definizione accentuata del tratto grafico, non rileva elementi di tipo figurativo ma spazia in ampie soluzioni compositive, dove le tematiche, anche a livello didascalico, richiamano indicativamente il loro svolgimento espressivo.<\/p>\n

_STATEMENT<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The sculptures and drawings on display, while recalling naturalistic\u00a0aspects and subjects, are carried out with a language that rarely makes\u00a0use of figurative elements.\u00a0The sculptures, all made of glazed and patinated terracotta, are characterized\u00a0by a single compositional structure, mainly developed vertically\u00a0with articulated shapes and sinuous movements. Analogies can be found\u00a0in the graphic works, but it is the chromatic element that characterizes<\/p>\n

the compositions, evoking an expressive energy both in the chiaroscuro\u00a0relationships and in the more specific themes.<\/p>\n

Here also the language, although with an accentuated definition of the\u00a0graphic stroke, does not detect elements of a figurative type but it ranges\u00a0in broad compositional solutions, where the themes indicatively recall\u00a0their expressive development, even at the didactic level.<\/p>\n

Nativo di Rho (MI), Sergio Colleoni compie gli studi diplomandosi al Liceo Artistico e all\u2019Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera a Milano nel corso di Scultura con gli artisti Alik Cavaliere e Mino Ceretti. Assistente prima dello scultore Giacomo Benevelli, diviene poi titolare di una cattedra di scultura presso il Liceo Artistico di Brera a Milano. Inizia l\u2019attivit\u00e0 artistica dagli anni settanta con esposizioni collettive e personali presso gallerie e spazi pubblici.
\nSviluppa in seguito esperienze significative nel campo dell\u2019arte a tematica sacra con la realizzazione di opere vetrarie e scultoree per chiese in Italia e all\u2019estero. Da anni in ambito privato, oltre che di scultura, si occupa di opere grafiche.<\/p>\n

Born in Rho (MI), Sergio Colleoni completed his studies graduating from the Art School and the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan in the Sculpture course with the artists Alik Cavaliere and Mino Ceretti.
\nInitially assistant to the sculptor Giacomo Benevelli, he later became professor of sculpture at the Liceo Artistico di Brera in Milan.
\nHe began his artistic activity in the seventies with group and solo exhibitions in galleries and public spaces. He later developed significant experiences in the field of sacred-themed art with the creation of glass and sculptural works for churches in Italy and abroad.<\/p>\n

For years in the private sphere as well as sculpture he has been involved in graphic works.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
