\u201cNel mio lavoro pittorico, sono accompagnato dalla musica e dalla natura. Il dipinto \u00e8 stato realizzato immerso nei boschi del Trentino, attorniato dal profumo degli alberi autunnali, dal contrasto tra il silenzio dell\u2019ambiente montano e la tensione sincopata della musica jazz. Questo contenitore fisico ed emotivo funge da filtro e supporto per frammenti di memoria, per un ricordo, per un tempo, un momento, cos\u00ec vicino, cos\u00ec lontano. Per sempre eterno.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Nelle sue opere Francesco Manetti riunisce tutto ci\u00f2 che assimila nella vita di tutti i giorni, tanto in termini visivi ed uditivi quanto emotivi. Questo costante groviglio di elementi \u00e8 da lui astrattamente tradotto e sintetizzato visivamente in immagini volutamente non figurative, ma visivamente poetiche. Codici e mappature del mondo circostante sintetizzate in emozioni stratificate che diventano gesto e colore. Delicatezza e gesto rude. Il richiamo della bellezza, attraverso il colore, componendo per contrasto. \u00c8 la ricerca dell\u2019equilibrio tra ordine e caos che lo spinge a creare dipinti.<\/p>\n

L\u2019artista\u00a0lavora principalmente con la pittura acrilica su tela, preparata con un primo strato di stucco, il quale rappresenta un vero e proprio primo passo nella realizzazione dell\u2019opera d\u2019arte. Lo stucco rende la tela una superficie pi\u00f9 lavorabile che pu\u00f2 essere scolpita, rigata, consumata: \u00e8 come conferirle un \u201cprimo livello di anima\u201d. Le opere acquisiscono poi gli altri \u201clivelli dell\u2019anima\u201d con una stratificazione di pi\u00f9 strati, dove ognuno di essi rappresenta un passo diverso nel completamento dell\u2019opera: una intricata combinazione di colori, segni e graffi che va a comporre l\u2019unico e definitivo corpo dell\u2019opera.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn my pictorial work, I am accompanied by music and nature. The painting was created surrounded by the forests of Trentino, by the scent of autumn trees, by the contrast between the silence of the mountain environment and the syncopated tension of jazz music. This physical and emotional container acted as a filter and support for fragments of memory, for a memory, for a time, a moment, so close, so far away. Forever eternal.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

In his artworks Francesco Manetti brings together everything that he assimilates in everyday life, both in visual, auditory and emotional terms. This constant tangle of elements is abstractly translated and visually synthesized by him into images that are deliberately not figurative, but visually poetic. Codes and mappings of the surrounding world summarized in layered emotions that become gesture and color. Delicacy and rude gesture. The call of beauty, through color, composing by contrast. It is the search for the balance between order and chaos that drives him to create paintings.<\/p>\n

The artist mainly works with acrylic painting on canvas, that is prepared with a first layer of plaster that represents a real first step in the creation of the artwork. The plaster makes the canvas a more processable surface that can be carved, ribbed, consumed: it\u2019s like to give it a \u201cfirst level of soul\u201d. The artworks then acquires the other \u201csoul\u2019s levels\u201d with a stratification of multiple layers, where each one of them represents a different step in the completion of the work: an intricate combination of colors, marks and scratches that goes to compone the unique and final body of the opera.<\/p>\n

Nato a Livorno il 13 settembre 1982, Francesco Manetti \u00e8 cresciuto con un profondo senso di devozione per l\u2019Arte, in particolare alle arti visive. Sin da principio ha coltivato l\u2019amore per il disegno e la pittura, per la grafica e l\u2019illustrazione.<\/p>\n

All\u2019et\u00e0 di 20 anni inizia a comporre le sue prime opere con maggiore dedizione e ricerca approfondita, fortemente ispirato dal lavoro di maestri contemporanei come Jean Michel Basquiat, Mark Rothko, Jean Dubufet e Cy Twombly, solo per citarne alcuni. All\u2019et\u00e0 di 23 anni inizia lo studio delle arti visive all\u2019Accademia di Belle Arti di Carrara (Italia), dove sviluppa quel connubio di tecniche e discipline che caratterizzer\u00e0 poi il suo futuro progetto artistico.<\/p>\n

Nella prima fase della sua carriera artistica, parallelamente alla pittura, ha dedicato una particolare attenzione al mondo dell\u2019illustrazione, a cui ha dedicato la sua tesi di laurea, svoltasi nel 2010. Ha lavorato assiduamente nel campo dell\u2019illustrazione collaborando con diverse case editrici specializzate in libri illustrati per bambini. Allo stesso tempo, ha portato avanti il suo progetto pittorico, attraverso mostre collettive e personali, in un \u201cwork in progress\u201d in continua evoluzione che lo ha portato al suo attuale percorso artistico basato sullo stile dell\u2019espressionismo astratto, terreno fertile per una totale libera espressione artistica ed esistenziale.<\/p>\n

Born in Livorno, Tuscany, Italy, September the 13, 1982, Francesco Manetti grew up devoted to Art, especially the visual arts.<\/p>\n

Since the beginning he nurtured a love for drawing and painting, for graphics and illustration. At the age of 20 he started composing his first works with greater dedication and in-depth research, strongly inspired by the work of contemporary masters such as Jean Michel Basquiat, Mark Rothko, Jean Dubuffet, Franz Kline and Cy Twombly, just to name the most important. At the age of 23 he started studying visual arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara (Italy), where he developed that combination of techniques and disciplines that then characterized his future artistic project.<\/p>\n

In his early artistic career, parallel to the painting, he dedicated a particular attention to the world of illustration, to which he dedicated his degree thesis, which took place in 2010. He has worked assiduously in the field of illustration collaborating with various publishing houses specialized in illustrated books for children.
