Le opere di Varagnolo sono d\u2019ispirazione classica ma, attraverso la tecnica e i materiali utilizzati (legno di recupero lavorato e dipinto a olio marmorizzato), l\u2019artista conferisce loro un aspetto molto contemporaneo, quasi informale. Esse presentano delle linee nette e pure ma seguono un preciso schema figurativo. Varagnolo, infatti, concretizza una forma d\u2019arte originale che ripercorre le \u201cimpronte\u201d di un artista genovese, Luca Cambiaso, che in pieno Rinascimento italiano geometrizzava la figura fino a renderla totalmente cubica.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Testa di Venere Cubica \u00e8 una scultura d\u2019ispirazione classica eseguita con legno di recupero lavorato e dipinto a olio marmorizzato. L\u2019opera ha gli elementi tipici delle linee nette e pure ma segue un preciso schema figurativo che riprende o meglio ritrae una testa di Venere di epoca romana conservata al museo Correr di Venezia.<\/p>\n

Varagnolo\u2019s works are classically inspired but, through the technique and materials used (processed recycled and marbled oil painted wood), the artist gives them a very contemporary, almost informal look. They present typical elements of clean and pure lines but follow a precise figurative scheme.\u00a0 Varagnolo, indeed, embodies an original art form that retraces the \u201cfootprints\u201d of a Genoese artist, Luca Cambiaso, who in the midst of the Italian Renaissance geometrized the figure until it was totally cubic.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Cubic head of Venus is a classically inspired sculpture made with reclaimed wood worked and painted with marbled oil. The work has the typical elements of clean and pure lines but follows a precise figurative scheme which takes up or rather portrays a head of Venus from the Roman era conserved in the Correr museum in Venice.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

Sandro Varagnolo e\u0300 nato a Chioggia dove vive e lavora. Dopo aver frequentato il primo anno di Disegnatore meccanico, consegue il diploma di meccanico navale e successivamente quello universitario equipollente di scienze infermieristiche.<\/p>\n

Dedicatosi alla ricerca e agli autodidattici sulla pittura a olio antica, frequenta il corso accademico sui procedimenti della pittura antica promos- so dal circolo artistico di Venezia presso il Palazzo delle Prigioni.<\/p>\n

Sandro Varagnolo was born in Chioggia where he lives and works. After attending the first year of mechanical draughtsman, he obtained the meccanical naval Diploma and the Diploma of nursing Sciences.
