With “Ri-Nascita”, the first group exhibition of Galleria DuePuntoZero, the artists will reveal us what is most intimate hidden in their selves, through their works. After two years of pandemic, of which Bergamo has been a sad protagonist, the Gallery intends to give every artist the opportunity to express himself as much as possible, showing what his creative expression, re-born even after a difficult two-year period. Each artist will give voice to what is for him the independent rebirth, personal, intimate and indiscriminately addressed to all, whether in the field of painting, photography or sculpture.
The Gallery aims to make every artist feel part of the city’s rebirth. Life, in fact, is the theatre of difficulties, losses and sorrows. It is an inevitable show that goes on stage daily and that, in addition to giving us joy and emotions, often leaves us deep wounds that only time is able to cure. But if the wounds heal, the scars (sometimes invisible) are a medal that we carry forever. And it is here that we are called to be born again by what, often, is in effect a non bodily death. Neruda wrote: “Being born is not enough. We are born again. Every day.” Every day, in fact, can be the right opportunity to give a turn in your life because the opportunity does not reside either in yesterday or tomorrow. Living doesn’t just mean living or breathing, repeating the same gestures every day.
It’s something more, that no one might ever teach us: it depends exclusively on us.
We are allowed to be born only once, but we can be born again and again.
The exhibition will be open until october 5, 2022.
